Fort Lee Lights Ready To Commence Christmas Season

FORT LEE, N.J. — Trees have gone up outside Fort Lee's community center preparing for the upcoming annual holiday tree-lighting ceremony.

The yearly event commences the Christmas season by lighting up decorations set up at the Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center.

Attendees can enjoy hot chocolate and other refreshments. The city asks people bring new toys to donate to Fort Lee's toy drive.

The event takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the center, 1355 Inwood Terrace. In the event of rain, it will be rescheduled for Friday.
